Can you help me please? I became an Obama volunteer, participated in
volunteer recruitment, took part in telephone banks, canvassed door to
door. The tally of my hours showed 1,563 hours of volunteer work, but
does not show the sleepless nights and hours of thinking about the
campaign, hearing radio and TV commentators, watching candidates'
speeches. The bags under my eyes have wheels, and I know the airlines
would charge me extra for them. My situation is this: We cleaned the
Obama HQ after the election and placed the leftover signs, banners, door
hangers, brochures, bumper stickers in one room. Unfortunately I locked
myself in that room, where I am now. There is a computer in the room,
which is how I am communicating with you. My pounding on the door was
to no avail and I fear all the volunteers and staff have gone away for
good. With time on my hands I explored the room. Bea neath some signs I
found a chest containing $6.5 million of unspent Obama funds in small
unmarked bills. If you will forward me your bank account number and PIN,
and maintain my trust, I'll be happy to wire this sum into your account
IF YOU WILL RELEASE ME FROM MY LOCKED ROOM. When I am released I will
claim half of what I have wired into your account and you may keep the
rest with my thanks for releasing me. To demonstrate your trust, please
slip a $100 bill under my locked door. I will not answer your calls
because I do not want my McCain-Palin enemies to know where I am. My
address is 1635 Innocent Drive, Room 8B, Beavercreek, Ohio. Please, no
checks. Thank you trusted friend, Ergor Rubreck.
