Hardly anyone taking Singulair reported a dramatic resolution of GI
symptoms. Some reported a lessening of symptoms.

Some research in celiacs involves drugs that would block the immune
response to gluten by small intestine cells; this is not a histamine
type reactions, but is mediated by a totally different immune
response, involving IgM and IgA. antibodies, but since Singulair
blocks leukotrienes which are involved in both pathways, this may help
some celiacs.

Obviously this is not the "magic bullet" we all would like to see. but
worth following.
