Thank you to Ken, Mark, and Brad for the responses. Although I did write to
these disk on another machine, it seems to me that the disc itself must have
degraded since I can't even erase it - neither one. Just for completeness, I
will try to access these discs on another DVD burner and see if the results
are the same.
