I don't actually mean everyone is stupid - but a vast majority of us -
run on auto pilot and look to others for what they think and then
assimilate that because it sounds right. It safe - and it a group thing
and human have herd instincts - this has been scientifically proven -
while herd instinct may have helped once - it hinders us now. You really
have to be in the moment and you have mull over ideas on your own and
apply your own litmus test to them. While some things are just plain
wrong - killing, lying, cheating, stealing, rape and physical violence
against someone - other things are more compassion based. Some people
spend way too much time worrying about what some else does and not
enough time contemplating their what they do. And they want the rules
bent and exceptions for themselves - but want others follow the rules.
