Kristina,

I agree with what Mike says, but the lightweight Invacare powerchair might
be useful for people who were primarily in an indoor environment, and
occasionally traveled with family or friends who didn't have accessible
vehicles.

Here's a link to the Invacare site with info about tha At'm chair by
Invacare.

Another option you might want to consider is an adapted PT Cruiser. That's
probably what I'll go for as my next vehicle. Here's a link to the Freedom
Motors website with info on the PT Driver and the PT Rider. The PT Cruiser
conversions include the PT Convertible!

Freedom also adapts the Honda Element, but it's ugly as sin, IMHO

Kendall

An unreasonable man (but my wife says that's redundant!)

The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one
persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore, all progress
depends on the unreasonable man.

-George Bernard Shaw 1856-1950
