Hi Actually, the default for .doc files in 2007 is different from 
that used in 2003.  So, if people using 2007 were to send you docs 
from 2007, they would have to choose something other than the 
default.

I don't happen to have a 2007 doc handy at the moment to check the 
extension, but it is definitely different from that of older office 
versions.

Window Eyes does work with office 2007 and I'm surprised that jfw 
does not since 2007 has been out for a while now.

Actually, I think it came out before Vista did but I may be wrong on 
this.
