I have a cd recorder.  It is installed just like any other deck.  I 
usually just make music cds, and if I want mp3s, I rip them using cdex.  I 
am building up an old system and will put it near the stereo if I can find 
room.  There is a cool little box called ads instant music.  It hs line in 
and outs, and plugs into your usb port.  Just got it, so haven't done much 
playing with it net.
