Hi Pat;

I owned one of those radios and it is as user friendly as any other Kenwood radio.

Which means you won't have any problem with it.

  I was wondering how useable the tmd700a is for a blind person. I'm heavily involved with skywarn and am the sub net coordinator for the western region of Maryland and parts of nearby areas of West Virginia and Virginia. 73- pat kk3f
