as i probably said before, the only yaesu i had was the ft23r back somewhere 
between 94 and 98, but i too would never get a yaesu, it was a good radio 
but it was a nightmare to figure out how to do anything, 6 little buttons on 
the front of the ht to do everything but wash your dishes and i didn't try 
this but i think you could have dropped it out a 3rd story window and not 
break it, i liked you could monitor two freqs with it too but im sure there 
are many these days you can do that, or maybe not?
