Nobody takes kindly to being slammed.  I personally don't like my faith's 
beliefs attacked in that manner.  And may of the doctrines he slammed in 
that song are among the most basic ones of all Christian faiths.  If he 
feels the way he does, he is not really Catholic anyway.

And as Oliver Wendell Holmes so eloquently said in his famous supreme court 
decision, "No right is absolute."
