joe was the congrajulatory message a joke or what ? who said yahya found
the cure. he was only toying arround since he has nothing useful to engage in.
joe i aggree with you 100 % .Gambians did not fight to set themself free from
colonial rule so any word of revolution is strange to us. yahya will rule any
how and at any lenght untill he says ,men i need to get a life .this is boring.we
only talk and push the pen/keyboard but struggle to defeat him ,naahh. that is
not very gambian. we mostly think of our other halfs first then God ,then
father ,mother and so on and on.
i personally learnt it the hard way.in 1994 we organise a student biycott in our
junior secondary school as result some remarks made by our history teacher.
we all aggreed to boycott his classes and demand that he be removed from
his post. out 80 students ,when the grunch time comes to lay our baskets
only 20 went ahead with the plan. the rest don't just backdown but were
made to write '' i will never challenge our teacher again '' 2000 times .
we who demand that abdoulie sonko the history teacher be removed were
beaten four lashes each in cold morning infront of the whole assembly .we
were then suspended for two weeks just because our collegues betray us.
so sir be mindful of gambians. they can break your little heart without noticing.
fatou will be abandon by the masses only the mighty one will be on her
side.this is the gambian way. sad isn't it ?
