You missed one of my best, although it was more spiritually practical than
well delivered, teachings/sermons I have ever preached. Yes, I thought
about recording it. I would rather preach it again even to just one person
than tape record the thing. Why? I heard on Sid Roth this week, a lady and
her husband who had made a CD recording with her husband reading healing
Scriptures. Nothing new there, because I have one I recorded many years
ago. However, a Scientist got to studying sound and he created this
speaking device one speaks through. There is a thin layer of smooth sand on
the other side of the speaking tube. English speaking words literally
create geometric shapes in the sand as letters are spoken through this tube
device. Hebrew words, on the other hand, literally create the actual Hebrew
alphabetical letter patterns in the sands as they are uttered. Far out! Is
it true? Beats me. It is what they said the scientific experiment
revealed. No, I won't start preaching in Hebrew but I found it interesting
that even English spoken letters create geometric patters on the sand. so,
I'll preach it again, or write it, if I have to but there is something about
the human voice that transcends understanding. You ever tried calming a
baby down and eventually began humming or singing? I used to have this
particular made up song I hummed, it had no words, but it happened to be a
tune I made up on the fly and stuck with me permanently, and it worked every
time as I carried the crying baby around. When our basset hound Hoaggie had
parvo and was in the hospital as a pup for six days, Sandy would sing
Christian songs to him when she went every day to visit him. One day, the
Lord told me what the song should be so I told her to sing that one to him
that day. Hoaggie is still with us today, a little weird, but he literally
is our miracle dog. I even have a friend who once said, "Let there be
light," and an entire infinite universe instantly exploded into life. With
friends like that, who needs enemies.
