It is 5:15 PM as I type this and it is 17 degrees at the house and 12 at the
airport.  The streets are freezing again after the 5 inches of snow we got
here at my house but up to a foot or more in other parts of town.  It is
supposed to drop to below zero tonight and it doesn't normally do that this
early in the season.  Anyhow, I knew you all were sitting on the edges of
your chair and waiting for this important information.  Paulette even said
to me on the phone last night that I likely would be doing my regular
weather report today so this is for Paulette.  It ain't none too warm in
Portland right now, though, and Washington state really got hammered with
snow and everything.
