Goodness, I'm being contrary these days! I beg to differ - CP is NOT a
disease, it's a condition. To me, a "disease" implies an infection or a
progressive er ... disease that worsens with time. To imply that CP is
a disease, to me, stigmatizes it and belies the fact that it's not
contagious, not is it on infection. It's simply the result of injury to
the brain. I don't think anyone calls spinal cord injury or stroke
diseases. At least I don't.
