Anthony,
I think Radio Shack still may carry them. Last one I bought was a few years
ago and was around 3 bucks. It's smaller than the first joint of your
little finger and has 4 color coded wires coming off it. If you don't have
sighted help or a color identifier to separate the 4 wires into the proper
2 pairs, a beeping tester should do the trick. The insulation on the
wires is super tough and it's easy to cut all the way through the whole
thing, so be careful. Check Radio Shack for "audio transformer".
They also carry something called a "ground loop isolator" for around 17
bucks. There should be info on the RS site. I think this is more of
a plug in type of thing, so you may need adapters depending on what you
are connecting to what.
Happy humming, Steve KW3A
