Hi:
A small correction:
A London taxi must have the capability to carry a bail of hay for the horses
in addition to the passengers, and it must also be of sufficient height to
enable a passenger to wear a Top Hat!
Under more recent legislation, they must also have the capability to load
and carry a wheelchair.
This only applies to the licensed guys, not the Private Hire vehicles.

Ok london taxis still have to carry a bail of hay in the back for the horse
and It is OK for a man to releave himself on the offside of his vehicle in
Wellingborough ( he must prove he owns the vehical ) and Football is banned
from being played in the UK on a Sunday I think that dates from the 17th
century ( pity they don't enforce it )

I think our law here in Idaho did at one time or still may prohibit
using a broadcast radio with all windows rolled up preventing you from
hearing sirens. Likewise fishing from the center of a bridge while
sitting on a camel is prohibited as well. This relates to early history
when Chinese gold mine workers engaged in this activity. =20
