On the contrary, Colin, when I can avoid buying Chinese products, I 
do.  Not only because they have a miserable track record for product 
safety, but also because they are a horrible unprincipled country who cares 
nothing for anybody or anything.  I'm not saying the U.S. is wonderful, 
because it isn't.  But, let's all remember how quickly expressing your 
opinion can get you ruthlessly butchered in China.  Just because they have 
started selling merchandise to greedy Americans doesn't mean that they have 
suddenly started to be decent human beings.

It is getting harder and harder to avoid Chinese products, but where I can, 
I do.
