Hi Bob;

I'm glad I decided to wait.

We have our house up for sale and Susan and I are going to be moving into a TownHouse.

We are downsizing.

I can't wait.

However, we are checking because their are antenna restrictions.

  Hi,
  The mic on the TM-V71A is not the same mic on the 700a.
  The TM-V71A does not have sky command or a tnc built in, but it does have an
  echolink interface. Kenwood is supposed to be coming out with a second
  version of this rig in August or September that has the tnc and sky command
  features in it and that version sounds like an update to the TMD700A but it
  will probably look like the TM-V71A.

  Bob;

  Is this the same mic that KENWOOD has been using?
