Why not print the file and scan the hard copy?

I tried running the 751 pdf through Omnipage and didn't have any luck
either. The scanned images must be of a very low quality.

Bob, I am also looking for a manual but more importantly, a way to read
other pdf files too. I have an icom 751a tranceiver and a pdf manual.
When I try to use openbook to read the manual nothing happens. Any
ideas on how I can get this to work would be great.
