Howard,

We had one of our blind volunteers recommend this radio at California Radio Camp earlier this year. While it is not perfect, it does provide feedback beeps that make figuring out where you are and what you are doing at least as easy as for the THF6A. In fact, this is the radio we are choosing to give our new Technicians at Minnesota Radio Camp. If they come to camp without a ticket, and pass Tech at camp, we give them an HT. Of course we want it to be as easy and accessible to operate as possible!

73,
Pat

Subject: anyone have this radio?

I'm looking at a Kenwood TH-K2AT two-meter handheld at HamCity.com. Does
anyone have this radio? If so, how easy is it to run with your eyes closed?
And has anyone purchased from HamCity and how were they?

Or would someone suggest another two-meter FM radio--could be handheld or
something I could use for abase station?

Thanks a lot for your thoughts.
