  There is a very accessible program called anytime deluxe.
  It has a full calendar and appointment keeper along with reminders,
  notifications and alarms and all that good stuff.
  and you certainly don't have to pay $1000 for a program just for its
  calendar.
  Google anytime deluxe and you'll find it and the companies website which
  will tell you more about its features.
