And, the worst things about the free edition of AVG are that it consistently 
gets poor reviews in reputable PC journals for both missing legit viruses, and 
falsely flagging things that aren't viruses.

Remember the oft-quoted tenant: "you only get what you pay for", or, Milton 
Friedman's famous words "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch".
