I agree as far as getting a ham licence and only talking on computers is
concerned we have several radios, my point being that a lot of people here
have left echolink and gone to the qsonet several saying echo link has had
it day I don't use either IRLP sometimes.

it's not on any repeaters, you might be thinking of EQSO, but not qso net.
I'd love to see it shut down. EQSO is something 100% different, that's more
like echolink. It is on repeaters, I think the difference is you can't cross
talk on it with out RF involvement but that might not be the case. I hope it
is. No one should get an amateur radio license just to talk on the computer
and shame on those who do.
