Hi, all.
Forgive the duplicate post if this already went to the list, but I could use
some help with a nagging problem.
My xyl bought me another Kenwood TMV7A this past Christmas on E-bay, and I
have gotten consistent reports that the mic audio seems unusually "hot". It
apparently is not objectionable, but noticeable.
I have tried swapping out mics from the other TMV7A's I have, and the
results seem to be the same, even when I'm holding the mic a good 6 inches
away.
The folks who give me the reports suggest that I'm clipping out a bit on
audio peaks.
Is there any way to adjust the mic gain in the TMV7A, or is there another
menu setting I might look at?
Originally, I thought the problem might be with the mic that came with the
rig, but I think I've ruled that out.
Thanks for any help you can provide here.
