Thanks Pat and others, I have just ordered it and should have it in a few
days. I already downloaded the software to program the memories and it
looks like it might work with speech and braille.

I still would really like to find a pl board for one of my older radios;
anyone know of one?

: Howard,
:
: We had one of our blind volunteers recommend this radio at California =
: Radio Camp earlier this year. While it is not perfect, it does provide =
: feedback beeps that make figuring out where you are and what you are =
: doing at least as easy as for the THF6A. In fact, this is the radio we =
: are choosing to give our new Technicians at Minnesota Radio Camp. If =
: they come to camp without a ticket, and pass Tech at camp, we give them =
: an HT. Of course we want it to be as easy and accessible to operate as =
: possible!
