Yeah, you cotton picking hearing aid people have a leg up on the rest of us.
What a deal. Sometimes the total quiet would be worth it. The closest I
come to what John and Sharon can do is my 300 dollar set of Bose headphones
with their noise canceling circuitry. Man do they work good, too. I know
that's poor English but it's true. You put those on your head and the
outside noise is immediately reduced. Then snap on the noise canceling
circuitry by pushing a little button, and 95 percent of all external noise
goes totally away. Just sitting there with nearly no noise filtering
through, and no music even turned on, is, at first, uncomfortable when you
are used to hearing so much background noise without realizing it. It feels
like sitting in a sound proofed room they use for hearing tests which I have
been in before. Sandy bought the headphones for me for Christmas maybe
three years ago? They are nothing short of amazing. So is their price.
Phil.
