That certainly is a sad story!  However, things like that wouldn't
happen nearly so often; if parents like them were punished
more severely, like the Lord intended it to be!

In North Carolina, a couple has a one month old baby.  They were watching 
tv, they put their baby in a car seat and put the car seat on the floor 
beside them.
They have a six weeks old pit bull puppy.  The pit bull chewed off nine of 
her toes and the baby was screaming and they said they didn't hear 
screaming.
She is in the hospital and the baby will be taken by social services.
The parents are charged with a misdemeaner for neglecting their baby.
The pit bull puppy will be put down.
How sad and there was no reason this terrible thing had to happen!
I will be praying for them and I ask each of you to join me in prayer.
