Your wife may be the only computer user in the world who uses a computer
CD player to listen to CDs.
Teach her how to rip (Windows Media Player) and install Winamp
(www.winamp.com) to take advantage of Shoutcast.
A couple hours use every night may be contributing to your problems.
I doubt most players get used two hours in a month.

Hello Peter,

Thank you for your reply to my question. I really appreciate the info
and suggestion you offered.

The second and third burners, as with the Samsung, came thru the mail.
Rough handling may have occurred during shipment. And, my wife likes to
listen to CD's while playing on-line games a couple hours every
night(multi-tasking). I tried to blame her for the failures, but, one
never wins such arguments.

I don't know if it will make any difference, but I intend to install the
Samsung in the open bay using that bay's cables.

Thank you again,

Norman Ushijima
