Wake on LAN packet support starts with the BIOS. Look inside the power
management settings of the BIOS and see what you can configure there first.
If you cannot configure it there, then the onboard LAN adapter may not
support it, and you'll need to get one that will. It's a very rare LAN
adapter these days that doesn't support wake on LAN packet. Dell will likely
have a software offering on its website that can help you out with this. Go
to the support section where you would download device drivers for your
machine, and that would be the best place to start looking.
