Fatten up in a healthy way -- what a concept.
I get the "too skinny" remark from time to time as well, and I find it
quite annoying. However, there isn't much I can do about it, so I just
ignore it. For one, I am *not* too skinny, it's just that most Americans
are overweight, and a good percentage of them greatly so. So if you
compare me to the average, then yeah, I'm underweight. The problem is
that the average is skewed. Just because everyone else is overweight
doesn't mean I have to be. I don't need to "fit in" that way.
I also look at it this way -- if indeed I needed to gain weight, there are
only two choices: gain muscle, or gain fat. Gaining muscle is extremely
difficult (I've been working out for years, haven't gained much yet), and
why on Earth would I *want* to gain fat just so I could weigh more?
