Jeff,

First, are you certain the files are in the music folder.  Have you re-connected the drive and viewed the folder to confirm this and also that they are of the expected size?

If so, when you go to the music folder, hit right-arrow.  Then, you should be able to arrow up and down if you have subfolders, or just try hitting play.
