Not really, the higher the angle of the legs, the lower the impedance.
But that will drop the feed line vertically, and get the greater part 
of the radiation area higher.  That will also lower the radiation 
angle.  I have always found that a g5rv needs a tuner at the bottom 
anyway.  That will disguise your sins.
