Sure, Gary, these POST cards have been around for ages now. I owned one
(ISA slot variety) in the late 80s. They were useful, especially before
there was any standardization of BIOS chip manufacturers. Nowadays,
however, they are somewhat useless, or should I say redundant, in that
there are fewer manufacturers, beep codes are not just some obscure noises
made during start-up, etc. My suggestion is that instead of spending money
on something like this, spend the time, instead, to learn beep codes,
startup sequencing, and what exactly is happening at boot time.

Subject: [PCBUILD] pci post card
Hi folks:
I saw an Ebay auction for a card that fits into a PCI slot that can =
troubleshoot motherboard problems through a series of beeps, tones and =
lights.
According to the description, this thing can tell you if the CPU, the =
memory, the cache, etc. is toast.
Has anyone had any experience using a PCI diagnostics card? It's also =
known as a POST card.
