Like i said, it has to be a  jumpered ps2 plug, which means only two of the
pins are used, and they are shorted together.
If you do a search on google for kenwood tm v7a modulation, or audio
modification, you'll find all the details on how to set it up.
It actually is described for the tm g707, but it works with the d700, the tm
v7a and probably the 708 and v71 too but i'm not sure about the last two.
You have to be really careful in the service menus since they adjust the
Micro processor and you can't fix it by doing a full reset.
