Hi Danny,

As has been said, most of  the good stuff  takes place in the lower portion 
but some guys  have their daily rag chews on their favorite freq right up to 
2 mhz.  If i remember right, the "dx window" is between 1.825 and 1.830 cw 
and ssb dx  will be in that same general area.  Of course most guys will tx 
on whatever freq their antenna  is best at,  but generally below 1.850.  If 
you are trying to optimize a 160 antenna, 1.820 - 1.850  is a good  spot to 
shoot for.
