Howard, When it says empty doc, you are already in the document with Internet
Explorer trying to use Adobe on its toolbar. You must have downloaded that link
or gotten the file from somewhere to open it in the first place.
If you downloaded it from the web:
1. Go back to the site and locate the link to download the file again.
2. Instead of pressing enter on the link, turn off the virtual cursor with
Insert-z.
3. Verify by tabbing that you are still on that link.
4. If you are, press the applications key, on a regular keyboard it is the key
to the left of the righthand control key. Arrow down to Save Target and press
enter.
5. Make note of the directory you will save the file in.
6. Now, you can either send that file to somebody from that directory, or,
alternatively, open Kurzweil 1000 or Open Book and look in that directory for
the pdf file. Remember when you look for that file to change the file type
setting to PDF. Otherwise, neither program will find the file since they are
looking for their own default files.

Howard:
I'd do that, but I can't seem to get to the file.
It just says "alert empty documentt".
This is why I think it's some sort of a scanned image that Jaws can't
recognize.
If I could get to the file, I'd send it to you, but I can't do that
apparently.
