Hello,

If it is partitioned into smaller drives then you can format any of them 
without touching the other drives. I install only the operating system 
on the C drive, and all programs and data go on the higher letter drives 
so in case I have to format and re-install the operating system I don't 
lose any data and have to re-install very few programs.
