First, it's vital that you don't allow any new data to be written to your
D-Drive. This will preserve whatever remains of your deleted files. As
long as the space has not been overwritten subsequent to deletion, you
should be OK.

You have 3 options:

Freeware. I've used Filerecovery with some success. Google for "file
recovery" or "data recovery" and you should get plenty of options and
tutorials. Whatever you download, don't allow it to download into D-Drive!
And don't install it into D.

Paid software. This will usually be more effective--most allow a free trial
to see what they can recover---then you pay if you want to proceed to the
recovery stage.

Data Recovery Labs. You can send your hard drive to a data recovery
lab--these can retrieve just about anything, even overwritten files. Cost
ranges from expensive to very expensive.
