Phil,
Isn't it sad that the wake up call like what John is going through, 
or my high blood pressure is what it takes some times to shake us out 
of our selfish life style?  I guess that, in some ways, we're still 
like kids, willing to push the limits until we hit a brick wall.  I 
don't like realizing that because , if ai see the truth, then I have 
to face the fact that, just maybe, I'm not much more mature than 
Christopher, in some respects.  That's a humbling thought, isn't it.
