I'm sorry you didn't make it in time but Jesus was right on time for your
dad.  When my dad died, my mom and her sister were with him.  He was in a
coma and as he began to slip away, mom looked up and Jesus was standing on
the other side of the bed.  Mom said, "You've come to take him."  It wasn't
a question.  Jesus spoke and said, "Yes, I've come to take him."  Dad died
moments later.  The ultimate act of identity, Jesus coming to escort His own
children into eternity.  You're dad is fine now.  It is the rest of us that
need mercy now.
