I'm sorry for your loss, Kathy, and I'm sorry you didn't get to say 
good-bye.  But it's not really good-bye anyway;  it's see you later;  and 
I'm sure your father is rejoicing in being free from pain, and looking 
forward to the day when he can show you around when you get there.  Please 
take care of yourself, have a safe trip, and try to rest when you can, as 
you attend to all the things that need doing.
