I am so glad to read this person didn't actually commit suicide.  I thought 
she had.  I know that poem helped so much.  Sometimes such a kind word is 
all we need to bring one out of such thoughts.

That is not good. The "pull yourself up by the boot straps" mentality has
its purpose but it is  wisest to have enough counsel insight to know when
it is OK or not OK, and also when a referral is needed. I'm glad she is OK
and hopefully her payment for the pastor's lesson was enough, and she can
find the truth in  her life and forego the falacies about her life.
