hi.

my message did not mean to say that i wouldn't ever dress up... but i truely
believe that one can dress respectfully casually also. What if someone is
not able to afford nice church clothes? Does that mean that they are being
disrespectable to the Lord? I could go to church dressed like a runway
model-ha-and have no respect for the Lord in my heart... but on the other
hand, i can go dressed casually-if that is all i have-and want to serve HIM
with all i have in me. I guess my question is... what if one has no means
to afford, obtain, or just has no dress clothes. Would we really look down
on them or think that they are disrespecting The LORD? What if one is
homeless... aren't they still welcome in church?

I personally don't go "over the top" but believe in dressing smartly and
waring the clothes that I believe the Lord would be proud to see me wearing.
I don't feel totally comfortable in casuals to church since I believe this
would say (of me) that I'm too lazy to bother for Him! I don't mind what
others do!

I will dress more casually in a home setting because I also don't want to
offend anyone or stick out and draw attention to myself.
