Well, I just knew you all were waiting to hear more about the abscessed
tooth problem I have had ongoing since the week of Christmas. That tooth
has had the root canal fail twice and three different times an abscess has
developed which cause the left side of my face to swell up almost to the
size of a golf ball. Pain. Today, I had an appointment with a root canal
specialist, that is, an endodontist. After a couple of x-rays and a little
visiting about what had occurred, plus an examination and more talking about
what he figured was going on, he recommended, praise the Lord, that we do
nothing to it since it calmed down and the x-rays appear to show that the
dentist who did the root canal, or fixed the failed root canal, did a good
job. This less than 30 minute visit cost me 99 dollars. Anyhow, I am
thankful there is no more swelling, tenderness, or pain and I am very
thankful no surgical procedure had to be done.
Phil.
