I poured a package of Goya 16 Bean Soup Mix into a pot to soak the beans and discovered what looked like barley in the mix.  The package doesn't list barley (or other ingredients), so I assumed that "16 bean" meant 16 beans.  I called Goya headquarters at 1-800-631-3104 and was informed that this mix does, indeed, contain barley! Just thought you all should know.
