ya, it's in the menu how to turn off the idle timer. I never use that, I 
always turn that feature off. There is a way to do a full reset, I know it's 
the last menu item, but there's a quick and easy way too but some one will 
have to help you with that other than me on that part, I've never done it. I 
think you hole function and power on, and then turn the tuning dial to the 
last setting and hit the center of the joystick but don't hold me to that.
