Hi.
I lived there after I graduated from college in 1982, and moved out in the
summer of 1983.
I actually lived in the city in the Delaware and Delevan section, but had
lots of friends in Cheektawaga, including a couple of hams. Unfortunately,
my one friend, Ernie Emmons, W2UFW passed away a number of years ago, and
I've lost track of the Wierzbinski family (Yeah, I probably murdered the
spelling on that one!).
I have a cousin who lives there now.
It's nice to find people on the list that are actually close enough to
conceivably talk to on the air.
I might have tried to go to the LARA fest in Lockport next week, but
unfortunately, I have jury duty that week, and don't know how that will
impact the week.
