Jeff:

I think the SAME or FIPS codes will stay the same--i.e. they will be by 
county, but the actual warning messages will be more specific so you know 
whether your particular part of the county is still in danger.

I will be seeing some folks from the NWS Grand Rapids office several times 
over the next few weeks, though, and will try to get clarification.

I just don't think they can change the codes in the radios now, since so 
many people already have them.
