Some people have gone over from echolink to qsonet which is a virtual
ionosphere you get a receiver with HF bands and tune like a radio.
http://www.qsonet.com I had no setup of firewall or router. And it has
speech for tuning.

Hi John,

Were you able to figure out how to enable ports 5198 and 5199 UDP in your
Norton Internet Security Suite? This is essential for connectivity using
any kind of Firewall and Echo Link.

Just installed new release of Norton Internet Security. When trying to=20=

connect to Station or Test Server I get Timeout message.
Any suggestions since I had no problems in the past.

Thanks
