Anthony,
Don't know where you got that idea. Menu 60 is the last one on the 480. You
might be thinking of the functions for programming the PF keys. Menu 48:
program PF key on control panel. Menu 49-52 programs mike PF keys 1-4
respectiviely.
Here is the function table for the PF keys:
00-60 correspond with the Menu Items.
61: voice #1 reads frequency.
Voice 62 S-Meter Reading
63: RX Monitor to force squelch open.
64: RX DSP Disable: receives using widest DSP setting.
65: Main Encoder lock
66: Send Key, makes your PF a send key since the 480 doesn't have a dedicated
one.
67: TX Tuning: regardless of mode, transmit a carrier at a fixed power level.
68: LSB/USB Toggle
69: CW/FSK Toggle
70: FM/AM Toggle
71: TF-Set
72: Q MR
73: Q MI
74: SPLIT
75: A/B
76: M/V
77: A=B
78: Scan
79L: M > V
80: M.IN
81: CW Tune
82-84: Channel 1-3
85: Fine
86: Clr
87: MTR
88: MHz
89: Ant 1/2
90: NB
91: NR
92: BC
93: DNL
99: Off, no function.
For the VGS-1: menu 15 sets volume, Menu 16 sets speed.

Steve, K8SP

Subject: TS-480SAT MENU WON'T GO ABOVE 60!!!
Hi Everyone;
I just purchased a KENWOOD TS-480SAT.
However, I can't get the menu numbers to go above 60.
And, above 60 is where all the voice settings are.
